ISC West, the premier security trade event of the year, recently announced impressive attendance figures for its 2023 conference in Las Vegas. ISC West, in partnership with the Security Industry Association (SIA), saw a 56% year-over-year increase in attendance, with over 27,000 security industry professionals from around the world attending the event from March 28-31.
According to Mary Beth Shaughnessy, ISC event vice president, the attendance figures were “remarkable” and prove that the security industry is continuing to grow and thrive. Over 85 educational sessions and 660 exhibitors showcased the latest technology and innovation on the show floor, creating a pre-pandemic atmosphere that left many attendees speechless.
Compared to previous years, the attendance figures were impressive. Post-show attendance totaled over 18,000 attendees, a 56.2% increase from ISC West 2022. Additionally, the SIA Education@ISC session attendance figures saw an 89.6% increase from the previous year.
SIA CEO Don Erickson praised the quality of the SIA Education@ISC programming and the value of ISC West, which allowed the entire security ecosystem to come together and discuss important topics like school security, cyber-physical security, and workforce growth. Erickson believes that ISC West is the nation’s premier security event, and the 2023 event reinforced this belief.
ISC West 2023 featured a full roster of keynote speakers, a redesigned Bridge, a Career Zone and Headshot studio, and the announcement of the SIA New Products and Solutions Award winners. ISC West 2024 will take place at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas from April 9-12.
Later this year, ISC East 2023, the leading security event in the Northeast, in collaboration with premier sponsor SIA and in partnership with ASIS NYC, will be held at the Javits Center in New York City from November 14-16. The ISC West team wants to thank everyone who made the event possible, including exhibitors, speakers, partners, and attendees.
